Paper Lantern · Diwali Postcard

काग़ज़ का कंदील: an old how-to sheet for a paper lantern, six steps and one joke a step. Fold the sheet. Cut from the fold, and stop before you think you should. Open it out and admire it, briefly. Roll it, gum it, unstick your fingers. Then hang it high and take all the credit. A limited run for Diwali.

A place to start: “Made this myself. Mostly.”

Comes with the two Diwali stamp stickers, free: Deep and Anar. Stick one in the stamp box on the back and keep the other.

• 1 postcard, with 2 stamp stickers free: Deep and Anar (0.82 x 1 in, punched with a scalloped stamp edge)
• 6 x 4 in (15.2 x 10.2 cm), rounded corners
• Back: room for your message, an address with PIN boxes and a stamp box
• The sheet is made with image generation from our own layout, then printed our way, in the style of an old how-to sheet. Every word on it is set by us
